Our Story
HVAC Double Check was founded to provide responsive mechanical engineering for projects that benefit from thoughtful collaboration and practical problem-solving. We believe the best projects begin with early coordination and are delivered through clear communication from design through construction.
Founder Tricia Drake, PE, HFDP, LEED AP BD+C, brings nearly two decades of experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems throughout Washington. Her background spans healthcare, commercial tenant improvements, public facilities, laboratories, hospitality, and complex existing building renovations.
Today, HVAC Double Check partners with architects, contractors, and owners to deliver mechanical designs that are practical, constructible, and aligned with each project's goals—whether supporting a major renovation or helping keep a small project moving.
